If you take God out of the equation, as well as Pastors Trevor and Faith, my life, for sure wouldn't be where it is today. I received my first prophecy of the call of God on my life at age 17, but I blatantly refused to either believe or yield to it, because I was a Muslim, from a Muslim family as well. To worsen the matter, I was the Alpha in the area we lived, serving under my father who was an Imam. Few years later, after the death of my father, I became a full pagan; neither practising Islam nor going to any church like Christians. Fast forward to 2015, precisely 27th of September 2015, I visited to JCF by divine orchestration. That day, Pastor Trevor preached the message he titled "WHO ARE YOU IN THE DARK". It was a life changing message and moment for me. Then I met with Pastor Faith after the service. Since then, my life leaped in an upwards trajectory. Pastors Faith & Trevor, along with Pastor Dora, have been and are still being used by God to push me into different dimensions of success in life generally, and ministry. They are the true definition of destiny helpers to me and in my life. I will be eternally grateful for this divine connection that keep moving my life from glory to glory. Hallelujah!
I am Pastor Ijay Gurgur of Champs Christian Gathering (CCG), Port Harcourt, Nigeria. I am so excited and highly privileged to be a part of 11-11 Connect, under the mentorship of Pastors Trevor and Faith Erhire Akpomughe. I first met Pastor Trevor and Pastor Faith 20years ago, 2003. From 2006 I was posted to work under Pastor Faith. And from then on till date, I have enjoyed her mentorship directly. Through the wealth of her knowledge and wisdom, I have enjoyed guidance and tutelage that have contributed immensely to bringing out the best in me. One outstanding virtue in them is that of believing in those they are raising. They believe in me and from time to time, give me the opportunity to express myself, applying what I have been learnt over time. Pastors Trevor & Faith both have uncommon insights and depths of God's word. Never a dull second listening to them. They are simply amazing. And I must not fail to mention that their marital life is so awe-inspiring, one of the best in our time, and thus, worthy of emulsion. My name is Pastor Benjamin Arebanmhen and I've known Pastor Trevor and Pastor Faith Akpomughe for seven years now, which I call "Seven years of transformation". Through their intentional mentorship, for which I'm most grateful to God (as my relationship with them is both pastoral and parental), I have cultivated a strong commitment to integrity and the perpetual availability of passion in my life. Guided by their wisdom and example, I've learned that integrity is the cornerstone of character, requiring honesty in all circumstances. This guidance has equipped me to navigate decisions with transparency, ethical clarity and biblical standards. In parallel, they've instilled in me the value of having a rich prayer life and studying of the word, to keeping my inner fire ablaze. Through their messages, wise counsels and their unsparing giving and impartation, I've been empowered to approach life with enthusiasm, embracing challenges as opportunities, never giving up or giving in but maintaining a fervent drive to pursue my goals to achievement and also helping others fulfilling theirs. The mentorship I've received in upholding integrity and perpetuating my inner fire has been invaluable, shaping me into an individual who embraces honesty and approaches life's journey with unyielding passion. I would never have accepted or even understood that there's a call in my life to be a pastor but God used Pastors Trevor and Faith to discover me and what I should be doing with my life. Meeting Pastors Trevor and Faith Akpomughe has been a destiny modifying encounter for me. I met them officially in the year 2019 during the six days prayer challenge, then I just moved to Port Harcourt with my family and God directed me to DAWIH. During the prayer challenge a lot of things were revealed and handled by the Spirit of God after which I began worshipping with DAWIH. Pastor faith prophetically brought counsel and direction to my destiny and continues to do so often. Pastor Trevor has been mentoring me with the precepts of God's word and since then, my life took a new turn. I have become meeker and wealthier just by sitting under their authority and tutelage. Ministry integrity and marital stability are also part of the many things I've been blessed with and learnt from their mentorship. I am grateful and thankful to God for bringing me to this wonderful, divine, power couple! My prayer is that God continually uplift and preserve them until the day of Jesus Christ. Amen!
